Eric Cormier

Eric Cormier has over 27 years of experience as a Fractional CFO, providing their expertise to various companies in the tech industry. Since 1994, they have operated their own company, Cortech Consulting, where they have assisted over 55 tech startups in British Columbia. Their contributions to these startups included GL restructuring, management reporting improvements, and financial forecasting. Eric has also worked as a Fractional CFO for Eproval, Tradable Bits, Fintel Connect, CuePath Innovation, Locality Systems, Session Games, and eBrake Technologies Inc., where they provided similar services such as GL restructuring, cashflow management, and tax compliance. In addition to their work in the tech industry, Eric has also served as a volunteer Lead SVP Partner for Fresh Roots Urban Farm Society, a social enterprise that empowers at-risk high school youth.

Eric Cormier attended Queen's University in Kingston, Ont. from 1983 to 1984, where they pursued an MBA. Eric also received their BBA from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton from 1977 to 1980. Furthermore, Eric has been a former CPA,CA for over 35 years, completing the program in 1983 at the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
