Sara Torgal is a Senior Scientific Programmes Manager at DIA since October 2018, previously serving as a Scientific Programmes Manager. Active in various organizations, Sara has been an Alumni Board Member for LisbonPH since September 2014, providing mentorship and support. As a Soft Skills Trainer for the European Pharmaceutical Students' Association since December 2012, Sara has delivered over 300 hours of training on diverse topics, including leadership and emotional intelligence. Additionally, Sara has held roles such as Parliamentarian and Training Coordinator within EPSA, overseeing training projects across Europe. Prior experience includes managing health promotion projects at Ordem dos Farmacêuticos and teaching English at Nova SBE. Sara co-founded LisbonPH and has contributed to cultural and scientific initiatives through APEF. Education includes a Master of Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon and a postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing.

EPSA is the student association of European pharmaceutical students with headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Representing around 100 000 pharmaceutical students through 44 member associations in 36 European countries, EPSA provides a large network for future professionals to meet, share opinions and shape the pharmaceutical profession of Europe together. The mission of EPSA is to develop the interests and opinions of European pharmacy students and to encourage contact and cooperation between them. With 4 major event per year and several flagship projects EPSA is putting itself forward as a major association encouraging mobility, education and collaboration among European society of pharmacy students. With the Individual Mobility Project (IMP) in mind, EPSA is seeking for internship opportunities for its students in diverse range of sectors ranging from industry, research, academia etc.
