Alan Li

Alan Li is an experienced professional in machine learning and computer vision, currently serving as an Associate Researcher at Epson Canada since June 2018 and as a PhD Graduate Student at the Vector Institute since January 2020. Alan's career includes previous roles as a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Consultant starting in September 2017, and as a Software Developer specializing in Machine Learning and Robotics at Epson Canada from May 2016 to April 2018. Additionally, Alan contributed to research platform development as a Software Developer at Defence Research and Development Canada during the summer of 2015. Alan's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Machine Learning from the University of Toronto, completed in 2023, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science with a focus on Robotics, awarded in 2018.
