Epting Events
Doris Oortman has over 25 years of experience in the event coordination and catering industry. Currently serving as an Event Coordinator at Epting Events since July 2014, Doris previously held positions as an Event Consultant at Center Stage Catering from April 2002 to June 2014 and as a Catering Event Coordinator at Epting Events from July 1998 to April 2002. Doris's educational background includes studies at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Epting Catering & Events is a family business inspired by the distinct personality of the Southeast, a region where we have four decades of event design experience. Founder Lee Epting and sons Ashley and Daniel have stitched together a patchwork of friendly, professional and creative individuals; among us are chefs, bartenders, gardeners, florists, musicians, painters, filmmakers and historians. We are a team who gets excited when you ask us to design a custom cocktail, make your grandmother’s bread pudding, or create a menu using all heritage ingredients. Epting menus are infused with the flavors of the South, enlivened by local tastes, presented with unique flair and served with Southern hospitality. Our creative comfort food provides a twist on the classic dishes of this region, offering savory and delightful fare for your guests. We pair delicious food with our floral, décor, and lighting design elements, while incorporating your personality to produce an affair that is uniquely yours- exciting, unforgettable, and above all else, fun.
