Jason Schafer

Jason Schafer has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Jason started their career at Nascote Industries in 2002 as a Programmer, where they developed and maintained various applications accessing the Progress Databases. Jason also worked on upgrading and maintaining the Progress Databases and creating links between Progress Databases and SQL databases. In 2007, they joined DataSystem Solutions as a Programmer, where they developed software and upgraded OpenEdge databases for multiple clients. Jason was responsible for generating software release candidates and installing them on testing environments and clients' sites. In 2012, Jason joined U.S. Toy/Constructive Playthings as a Senior Application Developer and later became a Corporate IT Manager. In these roles, they maintained, fixed, and enhanced Progress OpenEdge software used for order processing and also improved the Progress OpenEdge and SQL databases. Jason controlled vendor relationships for managed workflow sections and supervised a developer and hardware technician. In 2016, Jason Schafer joined TVH Americas as a Senior Developer, where they held a key role in developing software. Finally, in 2019, they joined ePublishing as a Senior Software Engineer.

Jason Schafer attended Truman State University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
