Violence Prevention Specialist - PYC at Epworth Children & Family Services

Susan Wilhelm MAC, LPC, has extensive experience in the fields of therapy and violence prevention, currently serving as a Therapist at Great Circle since September 2015, and as a Violence Prevention Specialist at Epworth Children & Family Services since June 2013. This role follows the merger of Progressive Youth Connection, where Susan held the same title since September 2011, focusing on delivering violence prevention programs in schools and juvenile detention centers in the Saint Louis area. Previous experience includes instruction as a Nia Instructor from 2006 to 2010 and work as a Certified Massage Therapist at various locations from 2003 to 2007. Susan began their educational career as an Education Specialist at Springboard to Learning in 2003, designing lessons on mythology and culture for 5th graders. Susan holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
