Anna Wang is an experienced sustainability professional with a strong background in project management and building performance. Currently serving as Project Director at EQ Building Performance Inc since 2016, Anna has held several roles within the organization, focusing on sustainability and carbon initiatives. Prior experience includes a Co-op Jr Sustainability Specialist position at S+A Footprint, where Anna assisted clients in achieving LEED certification, and a Co-op Junior Green Building Consultant role at Minto Group Inc, where analytical skills were utilized to track building utility usage and develop a feasibility tool. Anna holds a Master's degree in Building Science from Ryerson University and an Honours degree in Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo.

EQ Building Performance is a collaborative Toronto-based consulting firm. We bring together architects, developers, and building owners to create high performance buildings and communities. We believe that measurement informs design. Our professionals apply integrated design and computer simulation to influence projects, and use post-occupancy metering and performance data to test and validate our design tools. Our core services include energy modeling, sustainability consulting, advanced energy system feasibility studies, building labelling, commissioning, and resource metering/verification services. Current high performance building standards are future minimum building code requirements. Buildings will soon be mandated to consume net zero resources by design, and owners will be required to measure, analyse and report their energy and water consumption. These challenges create an opportunity for the design and construction community to engage in the creation of more efficient, comfortable, and resilient buildings, resulting in cost effective operations and maintenance.
