Sampson Oliver

Sampson Oliver is a Senior Software Engineer at EQL since 2022. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Lead at Keep it Cleaner since 2021. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as the Technical Lead (Mobile) at A Cloud Guru, where they grew the team from 1 developer to an international team of 7 including product manager and designer. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Junior Developer at Energetiq, where they had primary responsibility in creating the native Android Teamstuff app and transformed the Android codebase from Java 6 to Kotlin. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Tutor and Lab Demonstrator at La Trobe University, where they were responsible for facilitating classroom programming sessions of up to 30 students and grading student assignments. Sampson also co-developed an 8-week C for Engineers lab curriculum for first year electrical- and mechanical-engineering students, a brand-new Big Data and Cloud course for third- and fourth-year students, and an 8-week C++ for Games Programming course for second year students. From 2012 to 2010, they were a Freelance Software Engineer and worked on Misc Projects.

Sampson Oliver attended La Trobe University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Bachelor of Computer Science. In 2012, they obtained a Working with Children Check. In June 2019, they obtained an AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
