Abhay Goel

Abhay Goel is an experienced investment professional currently at EQT Group, where BPEA combined with EQT and rebranded to BPEA EQT in October 2022. Prior to this role, Abhay worked at Blackstone as an investment professional and at J.P. Morgan as an investment banker. Abhay began the career as a quantitative trader at Quadeye Securities Pvt Ltd, focusing on high-frequency trading and market trend analysis. Earlier experience includes a senior software engineer position at Samsung Research India, where Abhay co-invented a US patent related to action reminders and contributed to the development of advanced smart assistant technology. Abhay holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and additional credentials from the CFA Institute and CAIA Institute.
