Marcus Jäxvik

Marcus Joachim is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Startup Advisor and Interim Executive at Advisory since February 2021, focusing on CFO-type work for a $100 million Series A fundraise at Inceptive, as well as serving as Managing Director at EV Smart Money and advising the CEO of Engel & Völkers Capital. Prior to this, Marcus was the Principal Founder and Managing Director of hypcloud from March 2017 to January 2021 and participated in the Summer 2018 batch at Y Combinator. Earlier career highlights include roles such as Director of Regulatory Capital Management and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at VTB Capital, trading structured credit products at LBBW, and engaging in credit exotics trading at Lehman Brothers. Marcus began the finance career with equity derivatives trading at Dresdner Kleinwort after earning an MSc in Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
