Sarah Lowkis

I have been privileged to work in education for over 35 years, initially as a teacher of Science and then as part of leadership teams for 20 years. In 2015 I became head of Lavington School. In 2016 I linked with a local group of excellent primary headteachers and together we established Equa Multi Academy Trust, which came into fruition in April 2019. I transitioned to the role of CEO with the aim of working together with colleagues, to provide high quality nursery through to sixth form education, to enable students to truly thrive and be highly successful adults in a global society. This presented a great opportunity to positively influence and enhance so many lives, to ensure every child has the best possible education for them. Equa has gained a good reputation as a strong trust, and has an exciting future ahead. As we enter a phase of growth and expansion I have moved to the role of Director of Primary Education to provide more capacity within the central team and to focus on this area of development.
