Lauren Cook

As a Project Manager, Lauren works collaboratively across existing and developing projects within the HE, STEM, and International Partnerships divisions at Equal. These projects include the MIT Global Teaching Labs GTL in Wales Programme, Welsh Government Seren Network’s National initiatives, and has been an active participant in the Innovations in Education Today delivered via MIT.

Lauren is an experienced Creative Arts and STEM lecturer with a background teaching in further/higher and independent educational settings, including international academic summer schools in London and across South Wales. Lauren has over 13 years of teaching experience delivering community-based workshops, curriculum development, and delivery at GCSE, A Level, and Undergraduate levels within the established design and engineering departments. Most recently supporting engineering degree students with specialized design-tech projects and dissertation proposals. With a BA (Hons) degree in Contemporary Design, a PGCE in further/higher education from Cardiff, and Postgraduate Professional Development from Goldsmiths University of London.
