Chris Bowen

Chris Bowen has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Chris started their career in 2000 as a Developer at Open... where they were involved in maintaining and developing iTV applications. Chris then worked as an Interactive Developer at BSkyB, where they collaborated with internal and third-party teams to ensure the successful delivery of new services.

In 2007, Chris joined Sky as a Development Manager and later took on the role of Scrum Master for the Search and Programme Database teams. Chris also served as the Delivery Manager for Content Discovery and Advertising Technology, overseeing the delivery and maintenance of Sky's services in those areas. Additionally, they held the position of Interactive & Mobile Development Manager, where they led a team and managed multiple projects across various business areas.

Chris joined Equal Experts in 2019 as a Delivery Lead/Product Owner, and subsequently took on the same role at John Lewis & Partners. Chris also worked as a Delivery Lead/Consultant at the Department for Education, where they were responsible for managing the delivery of a discovery team and providing recommendations for process improvement.

Most recently, Chris joined HM Revenue & Customs in 2021 as a Delivery Lead/Product Owner. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in agile methodologies, team management, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery.

Chris Bowen attended London South Bank University from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a BSC (Hons) degree in Computing.
