Chris Hodges

Chris Hodges has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Chris began their career at MMR UK Limited as a Junior IT Consultant from September 2006 to January 2008, and later became an IT Consultant from January 2008 to July 2010.

Chris then joined AKQA, where they held multiple roles. Chris started as a Systems Administrator from July 2010 to February 2012, responsible for Microsoft infrastructure administration and management as well as VMware, network, firewalls, and storage. Chris then became a Senior Systems Engineer from March 2012 to December 2014, overseeing technical projects and architectural improvements across AKQA's infrastructure. Finally, they served as an IT Manager from December 2014 to March 2016, handling operational and infrastructure management.

After AKQA, Chris worked as a DevOps consultant at Zopa Ltd for a brief period in May 2016. From July 2016 to December 2022, they joined HMRC Digital as a WebOps Engineer, contributing to various infrastructure and DevOps roles. Chris'sresponsibilities included supporting development teams, managing telemetry stack, and general infrastructure. Chris also served as a DevEx Engineer at HMRC under Equal Experts, starting in December 2022, where they focused on improving the developers' experience and building internal Python services on a Kubernetes-based platform.
