Dan Ashton

Dan Ashton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of business analysis and software engineering. Dan started their career in 1998 as a Senior Software Engineer at Kainos, where they worked until 2007. Subsequently, they joined Objective IT as a Software Engineer for a brief period before returning to Kainos in 2013 as an Agile Business Analyst. Dan transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer at Kainos in 2008 and held that position until 2013.

From 2018 to 2022, Dan worked at several organizations, including Shawbrook Bank as an Agile Business Analyst and Equal Experts as an Associate Business Analyst. Dan also served as a Business Analyst at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department for Education. Dan'smost recent role was as a Business Analyst at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, where they worked from 2021 to 2022.

Dan is currently working as a Business Analyst at HM Revenue & Customs, starting in 2022.

Dan Ashton attended Queen's University Belfast from 1994 to 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
