Danny Jones

Danny Jones has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Danny started their career in 2009 at the Training and Development Agency for Schools, where they worked as a Digital Delivery Lead, leading the creation and maintenance of a national professional development website for teachers. Danny then moved on to the Department for Education, where they worked as an Agile Business Analyst, leading the creation and continuous improvement of a national teacher recruitment digital service. At the Education Funding Agency, Danny led the digital transformation of school funding requests, creating and championing the EFA self-service concept.

Danny also has experience working in the public sector, specifically at the Environment Agency, where they served as a Scrum Master/Agile Business Analyst, and at the University of Manchester, where they worked as a Digital Delivery Lead. In these roles, they facilitated workshops and engaged with stakeholders to drive digital transformation and improve user experiences.

In addition to their public sector experience, Danny has also worked in the private sector. Danny founded their own company, Digiworx, in 2014, and worked as an Expert Practitioner at The HiveMind Network. Danny also worked as an Associate Agile Coach at Solutioneers, an Associate Business Analyst at Equal Experts, and currently works at eSynergy Solutions as an Associate Business Analyst.

Danny Jones has a diverse education history. Danny attended the University of Derby from 2000 to 2004 and obtained a 2:1 degree in Marketing Management. Following that, from 2010 to 2012, they studied Computing at The Open University.

In addition to their formal education, Danny has also pursued various certifications. Danny obtained the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from Knowledge Academy in January 2013. Danny further enhanced their skills by becoming a SCRUM Master through Agile8 Consulting Limited in August 2012. Moreover, Danny obtained certifications in Kanban Management Professional and Team Kanban Practitioner from Kanban University in October 2020 and May 2020, respectively. More recently, in March 2021, they obtained the Business Agility Fundamentals certification from Sooner Safer Happier.

Furthermore, Danny has pursued online learning through Pluralsight. Danny has completed courses such as Agile Estimation, Business Dashboard Fundamentals, and jQuery: Getting Started, although specific completion dates are not provided for these certifications.
