Danny 🦙 Roberts

Danny Roberts has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Danny 🦙 started their career in 2015 as a Solutions Engineer at Node4 Ltd, where they designed solutions for customers, including hosted set-ups and AWS cloud deployments. Danny 🦙 then worked as a DevOps Engineer at Sky Betting & Gaming, focusing on international projects, from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Danny held several roles at different companies. Danny 🦙 was a Senior Build Engineer at Experian and a Cloud Engineer at William Hill. Danny 🦙 also worked as a Solutions Architect at Ubertas Consulting during this time. Later in the year, they became a Director at Steelwerks Ltd, where they served until 2020.

From 2018 to 2021, Danny worked as a Platform Engineer at ITV, where they were involved in five renewals. In 2020, they started their own company DJR Tech Ltd, serving as a Director until 2022.

Most recently, Danny joined Equal Experts in 2021 as a DevOps Engineer, and later transitioned into the role of Platform Engineer in 2022.

Danny Roberts attended Chesterfield College from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained an AVCE ICT degree in the field of ICT. Danny 🦙 has also acquired several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2015, they received the Puppet Professional 2014 Certification from Puppet Labs, Inc. In 2016, they obtained the Chef Basic Fluency Badge from Chef Software. Furthermore, in 2019, they achieved the Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate certification and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Most recently, in 2021, they obtained Security Check (SC) Clearance from the Cluster 1 Security Unit.
