Imran Akram

Imran Akram has extensive experience in the field of software quality assurance. Imran started their career as a Test Consultant at BSkyB in 2010 and later worked as a Test Consultant at Promethean. In 2012, they joined Swinton Group as a Senior Test Consultant, where they focused on setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks for financial applications. Imran then moved on to GE Capital in 2013, where they were responsible for major test automation projects. In 2014, they worked as the Head of Quality Assurance at Risk Technology Ltd. In 2015, they worked as a Senior Test Consultant at JD Sports Fashion Plc for a short period before joining MoneySuperMarket.com as a Test Lead. In 2016, Imran became a QA Lead Consultant at HM Revenue & Customs, where they worked on the API Platform/Services team. Currently, they are working at Equal Experts as a QA Lead, where they specialize in agile delivery and making software better.

Imran Akram pursued their undergraduate education at The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2007, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computer Science. In addition, Imran holds a certification in ISTQB/ISEB, which was obtained from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
