Lewis Pour has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering. Starting in 2018, they worked as a DevOps Engineer for Capgemini, where their responsibilities included designing and implementing scalable and efficient infrastructure and deployment processes. Lewis then joined HM Revenue & Customs in 2018 as a DevOps Engineer, where they continued to automate tasks, set up monitoring systems, and collaborate with development teams to ensure continuous delivery and improvement. In 2020, Lewis joined Equal Experts as a DevOps Engineer, working with various clients in both public and private sectors. Lewis automated tasks, implemented monitoring systems, and drove continuous delivery and improvement for the clients. Lewis also provided DevOps consulting services to John Lewis & Partners in 2022, focusing on the waitrose.com platform. Currently, they are working as a DevOps Engineer for HM Revenue & Customs for the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) project, where they provide DevOps support and automation for the infrastructure and deployment processes. In addition to their DevOps roles, Lewis also has experience as a Director at UniJobApp and as a Fraud Advisor at Lloyds Banking Group.

Lewis Pour pursued their education at Glasgow Caledonian University. From 2012 to 2016, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Networked Systems Engineering. In 2016, they furthered their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Advanced Internetwork Engineering in 2017. Additionally, Lewis obtained several certifications, including LFC131: Green Software for Practitioners from The Linux Foundation in March 2023, GitLab Certified Associate from GitLab in July 2021, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021. Lewis also obtained SAS certifications, including SAS Data Integration Studio: Fast Track (4.9), SAS Programming 2: Data Manipulation Techniques, SAS Programming 3: Advanced Techniques and Efficiencies, and SAS Programming 1: Essentials, all obtained in 2018.
