Marcio Lima has a diverse and extensive work experience, starting in 1999 as a .Net Developer at UNEAR. Marcio then worked as a Project Manager and Development Leader at QoS Labs, leading a large team on projects for major Brazilian mobile companies. From 2006 to 2012, they returned to UNEAR as a Product Manager. In 2012, they became an Entrepreneur at SomenTi before joining Project A Ventures as a Product Manager in 2013, managing the product roadmap for new ventures. Marcio then joined Evino in 2014 as CTO, responsible for technology, product, and team management. From 2015 to 2018, they co-founded and served as CEO of Vemos, aiming to make the telecommunications market more fair. Since 2018, they have been involved in IT consulting and machine learning projects as a self-employed professional. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Equal Experts, with previous roles at SpringHealth and Condé Nast.

Marcio Lima completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1995 to 1999, they attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, where they obtained a Professional degree in Computer Engineering. After a gap of several years, they pursued further education and from 2017 to 2018, they attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo, earning a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. In addition to their formal education, Marcio Lima also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, and obtained certifications in Convolutional Neural Networks and Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization, and Optimization, all from Coursera. In 2018, they also acquired certifications in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera. In 2017, Marcio Lima completed the Startup School Online program from Y Combinator.
