Matthew Phillips

Matthew Phillips has a strong background as a contract frontend developer, with experience in various companies and industries. Matthew started their career in 2015 at Synergist Express Ltd, where they worked on building a cloud-based application using Angular. Matthew then moved on to Amaze, where they worked on frontend development for interactive modules and CMS systems. In 2016, they joined TyresOnTheDrive.com, where they helped transition their web application to a new API-based backend and react frontend. Matthew also worked at Hurricane Modular Commerce Ltd as a senior frontend developer, responsible for developing an administration portal using Angular. Matthew has also worked at Sensata Technologies, Jaguar Land Rover, BEAUTY BAY, John Lewis & Partners, and Equal Experts as a contract frontend developer, building various projects using React, Node, AWS, and Postgres. Throughout their career, they have emphasized test-driven development, unit testing, and collaboration with UX/UI teams.

Matthew Phillips graduated from The University of Bolton in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Information Systems. In 2014, they obtained the certification of Sitecore XP 7 Certified Front End Developer from Sitecore.
