Neil Murray

Neil Murray started their career as a Junior Analyst at The Eton Group in 2014 and worked there until 2016. Neil then moved to Syenap (Pty) Ltd where they served as a Senior Data Scientist on secondment from The Eton Group. At Syenap, they developed an analytics pipeline, managed a team of developers, and applied algorithms to visitor data generated from retail security camera footage. In 2017, they briefly worked as a Data Scientist at The Eton Group before joining OUTsurance as a Developer. Neil worked as a Developer at OUTsurance from 2017 to 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Data Engineer at Equal Experts starting from 2023.

Neil Murray attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in data-related subjects, including "Hands On Essentials - Data Sharing," "Hands On Essentials - Data Applications," "Hands On Essentials - Data Engineering," "Hands On Essentials - Data Lake," and "Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse" from Snowflake in 2023.
