They began their career as a UI Designer at Angry Fish and Worth, contributing to significant projects for clients like the NHS and GSK. Throughout their tenure, Russell held roles such as Lead Service Designer at the Royal Navy and HM Revenue & Customs, where they improved critical services and fostered collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Currently, they serve as a Lead Service Designer at The Open University, focusing on embedding design methods to transform organizational strategies. Russell also works as a Principal Consultant in Service Design at Equal Experts.
