Umar Farouq

Umar Farouq has a diverse range of work experience in the field of SAS programming and consultancy. Umar started their career as a Trainee Consultant at Base 3 Systems in 2006, and later became a SAS Trainee Consultant at Base3 from 2006 to 2007. Umar then worked as a MI Technical ETL Developer and a Data Integration Consultant at UKAR formerly Bradford and Bngley Building Society from 2007 to 2015. Umar then joined Lloyds Banking Group as a SAS Consultant from 2015 to 2019. Umar's next role was Senior Statistical Programmer at Parexel from 2020 to 2021. Umar then worked as a SAS SME at EXL from 2022 to 2022. Currently, Umar is working as a SAS Administrator at Equal Experts from 2022.

Umar Farouq completed their Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computer Science from The University of Sheffield between 2001 and 2004. Umar also obtained additional certifications, including the "Introduction to Data Curation for SAS Data Scientists" from SAS in April 2020, and the "SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9" from SAS in February 2009.
