Alberto Mojtar has a diverse work experience. Alberto is currently the Co-founder & CEO of The Equal Food Co., where they focus on rethinking food systems and fighting food waste and for food security. Prior to this, they took a solo travel sabbatical in 2018 to pursue personal interests and engage in social impact projects in Asia and South America. From 2016 to 2018, Alberto worked at Goldman Sachs in the Corporate Treasury department. Alberto also gained experience at Morgan Stanley as an Associate from 2013 to 2016 and at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management as an Analyst for a brief period in 2013.

Alberto Mojtar attended Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen from 2010 to 2011, where they pursued a degree in International Business and Finance. Following that, from 2009 to 2011, they studied at Universidad de Granada and obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy and Finance with a focus on Economics. Alberto later continued their education at Universidad de Granada, completing a Master's degree in Business and Management from 2011 to 2013, also specializing in Economics.

In terms of certifications, Alberto has obtained the Venture Deals Spring 2021 certification from Kauffman Fellow & Techstars in April 2021. Alberto has also completed the CFA Level I certification from the CFA Institute, although the specific months and years of completion are not provided.
