Ant Avila is a dedicated community organizer with extensive experience in advocacy and political campaigns. Currently serving as a Community Organizer at Equality Florida, Ant also holds the position of Vice President at Pasco Pride, overseeing the annual festival's logistics and policy development. Previous roles include Community Prevention Coordinator at the Sunrise of Pasco County Domestic & Sexual Violence Center, where Ant led a sexual violence prevention initiative, and Campaign Manager for Rachel for City Council, focusing on strategic messaging and fundraising. Ant has held various organizing positions with the Florida Democratic Party and other political campaigns, contributing to voter engagement efforts and building volunteer teams. Ant's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government and a Certificate in Civic Education from Arizona State University.

Equality Florida is the largest civil rights organization dedicated to securing full equality for Florida’s LGBTQ community.
