Nadine Smith

Nadine Smith has a strong and diverse work experience. Nadine served as the Executive Director at Equality Florida since its inception in 1997, leading the organization's efforts to combat discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Nadine played a crucial role in passing various non-discrimination policies across Florida and successfully defeating anti-gay bills in Tallahassee. Additionally, Nadine was a Board Member at PFLAG for three years from 2005 to 2008. Nadine also actively contributed to Equality Federation, serving as a Member from 1997 to 2007 and as Co-chair from 1997 to 2005. Previously, Nadine worked as a Reporter at the Tampa Tribune from 1988 to 1991.

Nadine Smith attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1983 to 1984. Nadine then pursued higher education at the University of South Florida from 1985 to 1987, though the specific degree and field of study remain unknown.
