Sylvia W. is an ambitious political science and international affairs student at Florida State University, expected to graduate in June 2025. Currently serving as an Event Assistant at Common Ground Books and a Communications Intern for State Representative Bartleman at the Florida House of Representatives, Sylvia has accumulated significant experience in advocacy and organizing roles at Equality Florida, where Sylvia progressed from a Field Advocacy and Organizing Fellow to Senior Field Advocacy and Organizing Fellow. Additionally, Sylvia contributes to 18by Vote as a Youth Advisory Board Member and has served as a Fellow and Volunteer Coordinator during the 2020 Georgia Senate Runoff with the Democratic Party of Georgia.
