Sarah Matsushita

Sarah Matsushita is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in nonprofit and advocacy work. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Equality Fund, Sarah oversees a communications strategy that supports women’s rights organizations globally. Previous roles include Director of Communications & Engagement for the Ontario Nonprofit Network, where Sarah directed advocacy campaigns reaching over 45,000 subscribers, and Communications Officer at Social Planning Toronto, focusing on legislative changes for inclusive communities. Sarah also gained experience in international communications with the Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College.
