Annie Fang

Annie Fang has a diverse work experience in the field of design and marketing. Annie most recently worked for Equals Money as a Lead Product Designer, where they designed user experiences for web and app platforms and led a team of designers. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Product Designer at the same company. Annie also has experience as a Product Designer and UX Designer at Equals Money.

Before joining Equals Money, Annie was self-employed and worked as a Product Designer for various organizations. Annie designed websites and apps to support new initiatives and developed a self-guided cycling tour navigation app.

At Encepta, Annie worked as an Interaction Designer and Administrator. Annie redesigned the company website, developed and promoted company values, and designed employee skill badges. Annie also provided visual design support for marketing and corporate materials and organized company events.

Annie has earlier experience as a Marketing Assistant Team Lead and Front Desk Assistant at UBC BirdCoop Fitness Centre, where they focused on customer service and administrative duties. Annie also worked as a Brand Representative/Model at Hollister Co., conducting store audits and enhancing the customer shopping experience.

Furthermore, Annie worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at AntiSocial Solutions, a Thinkingbox Company, and as an Office Assistant at Maguire and Company, where they handled administration and bookkeeping tasks.

Annie Fang completed a Diploma in UX Design from RED Academy in 2019. In the same year, they also obtained a Certificate in Web Development from BrainStation. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Environment and Sustainability in Geography from The University of British Columbia, which they attended from 2011 to 2018.
