Shane Johnson

Shane Johnson has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Shane started their career in 2004 as a Flash Designer/Developer at UltraVisual, where they worked as a freelancer and created rich media content using Flash CS3 & CS4 and Actionscript 3.0. Shane continued freelancing until 2010 and worked with prominent agencies and companies.

In 2010, Shane joined Succinct Healthcare Communications and Consultancy as a Senior RIA Developer and stayed there until 2011. Shane then joined Envato in 2009 as an Author/Contributor, where they wrote engaging and informative tutorials for the Active Tuts+ website until 2012.

Shane's next venture was at Gamesys in 2011, where they started as a Software Developer and mainly worked with Actionscript 3 & Java to create complex applications. Shane eventually became a Team Lead and Software Engineer, responsible for the development of the whole technological stack. Their tenure at Gamesys lasted until 2018.

Since 2018, Shane has been working at Equals Money, initially as a Lead Software Engineer. Shane then advanced to the role of Head of Product Engineering and, currently, holds the position of Director of Platform Engineering.
