Christian de Lafforest

Christian de Lafforest is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial leadership roles across notable companies in the energy sector. Currently serving as CFO at Equans BeLux since May 2025, Christian previously held the position of Group FP&A Director at EQUANS, where responsibilities included the establishment of FP&A teams during the group's formation and integration. Prior roles at ENGIE involved directing financial analysis and enhancing financial communication for the organization, alongside financial oversight at STORENGY, focusing on treasury, budgeting, and regulatory negotiations. Christian began a career in March 2001 at ENGIE, progressively managing financial planning within renewable energies and engaging in investment advisory and gas contract negotiations. Christian holds an engineering degree in Energy, Economy, and Environment from Mines Paris - PSL and further education from Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs.
