Peter Boon

Peter Boon is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in offshore wind projects. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at EQUANS Nederland since June 2019, Peter has previously held key roles such as Senior Program Manager at Bluerise BV and Senior Technical Project Manager while preparing for a career transition. Notably, Peter was instrumental in the construction phase of the 600 MW Gemini Offshore Wind Project at Buitengaats C.V., overseeing the QA/QC project organization and managing quality audits. Peter's career also includes significant positions with Typhoon Offshore and Typhoon Capital, focusing on development and investment management in offshore wind and solar projects across Europe. With an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Peter's diverse skill set has been honed through varied roles in the telecommunications and utility sectors, establishing a strong foundation for success in project management.
