David Hughes

David Hughes has a solid work experience in business development and project management roles. David is currently working as a Business Development Director at EQUANS UK & Ireland since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ENGIE UK & Ireland from 2014 to 2022, where they held various positions including Business Development Manager, Regional Development Manager, Bid Manager, and Submission Manager. Before ENGIE, they worked at NG Bailey as a Proposal Project Manager and Market Analyst from 2011 to 2014. Their earlier experience includes working as a Business Analyst at Enterprise Plc from 2009 to 2011 and as a Trainee Market Analyst at Bupa from 2007 to 2008.

David Hughes attended Lancaster University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management Entrepreneurship. David also holds additional certifications, including "The Zero-Carbon Transition Strategy" from ENGIE and an ILM Diploma in Management: Level 5 from the Institute of Leadership and Management, obtained in 2019 and 2011, respectively.
