Joanne Bell

Joanne Bell (FCA) has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Joanne currently serves as the Finance Director for Equans UK & Ireland since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Finance Officer at Engenera Renewables Group from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Group Finance Director for The High Street Group, overseeing their diverse and growing business operations. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Director at Gentoo Group Limited from 2016 to 2017, where they managed various finance operations and relationships with external auditors and regulators. Joanne also served as the Head of Finance at Gentoo Genie Ltd, a start-up regulated by the FCA, from 2011 to 2016. Joanne'searlier experience includes working as a Finance Manager at Gentoo Group Limited from 2002 to 2011 and as an Assistant Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1997 to 2002. Joanne brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in finance and has demonstrated leadership in various roles throughout their career.

Joanne Bell (FCA) completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy from Newcastle University between 1994 and 1997.
