Richard Yates

Richard Yates has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Richard is currently the Head of Procurement at EQUANS UK & Ireland since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Supply Chain Manager at ENGIE UK & Ireland from July 2017 to July 2021. Before joining ENGIE, Richard held the position of Lead Buyer / Category Manager at Keepmoat from March 2012 to July 2017. Richard also worked as a Group Efficiency Manager / Supply Chain Manager at Keepmoat Ltd from April 2007 to March 2012. Richard started their career as a Buyer at Frank Haslam Milan Ltd from November 1998 to April 2007, and earlier, they served as an Assistant Buyer / Buyer at Hallamshire Construction from April 1994 to November 1998.

Richard Yates has a Bachelor of Laws degree from Sheffield Hallam University, which they completed from 2001 to 2006. Richard then pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Management at Nottingham Trent University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma of Higher Education in Construction Management from the University of Derby from 1995 to 1997. Richard also holds an HNC Building Studies degree from Chesterfield College, which they completed from 1993 to 1995, and an OND Building & Civil Engineering degree from the same college, which they obtained from 1990 to 1992.
