Catalina Dragu

Catalina Dragu began their career in 2009 as a Team Leader and Sr Software Engineer at ATOSS Software AG. Catalina then worked at Gemalto as a Scrum Master and Software Engineer for the Samsung PAY project. Catalina later became an Agile Project Manager and Transformation Agent at DIABOLOCOM, where they coached teams on Agile philosophy and Scrum process. Catalina then joined Scalian as a Trainer, Coach, and SAFe Consultant, where they played a crucial role in Amadeus' SAFe implementation and led the Amadeus Agile Community. Most recently, they took on the position of Global Ad Operations Director at Equativ (formerly Smart).

Catalina Dragu began their education in 2006 at Universitatea Politehnica din Timisoara, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Engineering in 2010. In the same year, they also completed a Teaching Diploma from the Romanian Ministry of Education.

Catalina further expanded their knowledge and skills through various certifications. In 2011, they obtained an Oracle Certified Professional (SCJP), Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle. In 2016, they completed the Professional Scrum Master certification from scrum.org. In 2017, they obtained the ICP - ATF - Agile Team Facilitation - Agile Coaching - ICAgile Certified Professional certification from ICAgile, as well as the Agile Project Manager® Foundation and Agile Project Manager® Practitioner certifications from APMG International.

In 2018, Catalina obtained several certifications, including the Certified SAFe® 4 Program Consultant certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., the Doing Business Deals in Asia certification from ESSEC Asia-Pacific, and the Leadership in the 21st Century certification from Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy. Catalina also completed the Certified LeSS for Executives: Principles, Organization, & Change certification from The LeSS Company.

Additionally, Catalina holds a Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, obtained with an A degree from the University of Cambridge in 2010.
