Doug Openshaw has a varied work experience spanning multiple industries. Doug started their career as a Business Consultant at RCS software in 1997, where they managed implementations and training programs for the OpenHouse housebuilding process management solution. Doug then joined SiteStream Software in 2000 as the Manager of Implementation and Training Services, where they oversaw major and minor UK home builder software implementations and managed the implementation cycle. In 2004, they became the Director of Operations at SiteStream US, responsible for presales, implementation, and support services in the US. Doug also developed a US business process model and training processes for web-based training programs.

From 2006 to 2008, Doug served as the General Manager of US operations at SiteStream US, reporting to the General Manager. Doug then joined Sage Construction in 2008 as the Business Development Manager for the UK, managing sales activity in the South East region and marketing and selling SharePoint, Housebuilding ERP, and EVision 7 based on Dynamics NAV 2013.

In 2013, Doug joined Eque2 Ltd as a Sales Manager, overseeing solution sales to the UK, Ireland, and EMEA. Doug also had responsibilities for defining the relationship with Microsoft and ensuring mutual benefits from the partnership. Doug later became the Director of Product Strategy in 2020 and then took on the role of Head of Sales UMM in 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Sales Director (Enterprise Division) at Eque2 Ltd since June 2022.

Doug Openshaw attended Nottingham Trent University from 1992 to 1996, where they completed a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Residential Development. In addition, they obtained a certification in 2011 through Microsoft for the Standard Sales Assessment in Enterprise Resource Planning.
