John Fenstermaker serves as the US Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Equifax since January 2012, leading a 70-person team focused on analytics, research, product development, and customer solutions for the company’s $1.7B USIS business. Previous roles at Equifax include heading US Customer Data Science & Analytics and launching the Innovation Architecture organization. Prior to Equifax, John worked at Computer Sciences Corporation, where responsibilities included building a data science organization that achieved recognition with the HHS Inspector General's Integrity Award for efforts in healthcare fraud prevention. Early in John’s career, roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama involved designing models and algorithms for fraud detection in medical claims. John holds a Master of Science in Applied Statistics from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
