Diana van Maasdijk is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Equileap, a leading organization that provides data and insights on diversity, inclusion, and gender equality in the corporate sector. Prior to their current role, Diana held positions as the Head of Philanthropy Advice at ABN AMRO MeesPierson, Founder and principal consultant at Philian- philanthropy consulting, and Director of Development and Communications at Mama Cash. With a background in international development and world politics, Diana has also worked in various program management and consultancy roles in organizations such as World Population Foundation and Family Care International.

Our mission is to close the equality gap in the workforce. As a leading data provider on diversity and equality, we enable responsible investors to make informed decisions. Equileap evaluates companies based on a broad set of diversity & inclusion criteria measuring 19 gender equality criteria, as well as 5 additional criteria on race & ethnicity and LGBTQ+, in the workplace. Our evaluation is based on various metrics including gender balance across the workforce, the gender pay gap, paid parental leave, anti-sexual harassment policies, gender discrimination controversies, race & ethnicity discrimination controversies, support for gender-diverse employees, and others. In addition, Equileap publishes regular research reports on the status of equality within companies to increase awareness and support companies in their practices as they address all types of discrimination.
