Matthew K Walter

Matthew K Walter is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Equilibrium Energy since May 2023, Matthew has also held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Solid Endeavor Inc. since October 2009. Prior to these roles, Matthew was a Principal Engineer in Security at Vimeo and a Principal Engineer in DevOps at CVS Health. Matthew has a strong background in developer empowerment, CI/CD tooling, Kubernetes, serverless applications, and has been actively involved in mentoring teams in Agile methodologies. Additional experience includes significant positions at Aetna, Active Health Management, Xerox, TEOCO, StormFrog, and the National Outdoor Leadership School. Matthew holds both an MS and a BS in Software from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
