Raouf Abdel

Raouf Abdel is the Executive Vice President of Global Operations at Equinix, where responsible for the design, build, and operation of the global IBX footprint across 60 markets and 27 countries since August 2012. Previously, Raouf served as the President and CEO of OpTerra Energy Group, a provider of energy efficiency solutions. Raouf also held the position of President of the Business Markets Group at Level 3 Communications and was Vice President of Network Development at MFS Communications, leading significant fiber optic network expansions. Early career experience includes project management at Kiewit, overseeing fiber optic network projects. Raouf Abdel holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Temple University.
