David Fonkalsrud

David Fonkalsrud is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and corporate communications. Currently serving as the Head of Global Public Relations and Americas Corporate Communications at Equinix since April 2016, David directs the company's global public relations strategy and oversees regional communications across the Americas. Prior to this role, David was the EVP and West Coast Lead at Racepoint Global from 2014 to 2016, and co-founded K/F Communications, a strategic communications firm specializing in B2B and B2C markets, where David served from 2001 to 2014. Earlier in David's career, the role of Communications Manager at DHL involved leading communications initiatives for the company in the U.S. David Fonkalsrud holds a BA in Political Science from Denison University and has further education from Harvard School.
