Derek Fahey

Derek Fahey has been with Equinix since August 2011, currently serving as Director of Operations Enablement, where leadership focuses on Digital Twin development and the adoption of robotics. Previous roles at Equinix include Senior Principal Architect and Principal in Global Operations Enablement, emphasizing innovative software solutions and agile coaching for Global Operations Teams. With extensive management experience in data center operations, Derek has overseen day-to-day activities across various locations and teams, managing over 40 employees at times. Prior to Equinix, Derek held positions at Data Electronics and Mercer, where responsibilities included technical services management and IT operations across multiple European locations. Educational qualifications comprise a BSc and MSc from Technological University Dublin, along with various project management certifications.
