Gilbert Martinez

Gilbert Martinez, DCEP, is the Director of Data Center Operations for the Texas Region at Equinix, bringing over 20 years of experience in mission-critical environment administration and maintenance. Previously, Gilbert held multiple roles at Oracle, including Senior Manager and Manager of Data Center Engineering Operations, where they managed teams responsible for operational efficiency and infrastructure design. Prior to Oracle, Gilbert served in the US Navy as a Submarine Reactor Operator and held positions at Dell focused on critical systems management. Gilbert's educational background includes a degree in Computer Science from Park University and ongoing studies at Coastline Community College in Nuclear Engineering Technology and Electronics Technology.
