Michelle Banakes

Michelle Banakes is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in strategic roles across various industries. Since March 2011, Michelle has been with Equinix, currently serving as Global Managing Director and Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Microsoft, building upon prior positions as Sr. Client Executive and Global Account Manager. Prior to Equinix, Michelle held the position of Account Director at Level 3 Communications from May 1999 to April 2011. Earlier career experience includes operations at Alaska Airlines from 1996 to 1999 and project management at Davidson & Associates from 1991 to 1996. Michelle is a graduate of the University of Washington.
