Shawn Kaplan

Shawn Kaplan is a seasoned sales executive with extensive experience in the technology and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Sales Director for the NorthEast Region at Equinix since October 2013, Shawn manages a high-performance sales team focused on revenue growth within top Enterprise relationships globally. Prior to Equinix, Shawn held the position of General Manager for Financial Services at Telx, where responsibilities included driving marketing and product strategy in key verticals. Shawn's earlier career includes significant roles at ACTIV Financial, Reuters, Telerate, and Dow Jones, encompassing business development, marketing, and product management, with a strong emphasis on creating client-focused solutions in competitive markets. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Drexel University.
