Aleksander Karol Gumos

Aleksander Karol Gumos is a highly experienced geospatial engineer currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Equinor since January 2023, focusing on geospatial services across oil and gas, renewables, and subsurface activities. Prior to this role, Aleksander worked as a Senior Specialist GIS at Statkraft Energy AS from November 2015 to December 2022, where responsibilities included managing GIS effectively, stakeholder collaboration, and involvement in R&D projects such as drone mapping and photogrammetry. Previous experience includes roles at Subsea 7 and Stolt Offshore/Acergy, providing GIS and 3D visualization services for various projects. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Geoinformatics from Linköping University and a B.Sc. in Quaternary Geology from the University of Gdansk, along with various professional courses in GIS and project management.
