Alexander Grødeland

Alexander Grødeland is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the maritime and LPG sectors. Currently serving as a Principal LPG Trader at Equinor since September 2018, Alexander has held various positions including Sr. LPG Trader and Sr. Commercial Operator, focusing on optimizing the shipping value chain and analyzing fleet portfolios. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Superintendent at Solvang ASA, overseeing the operation of Very Large Gas Carriers, and a Maritime Trainee position in the Norwegian Armed Forces, where responsibilities included military training for soldiers. Alexander's educational background encompasses an Executive MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics, a Bachelor's degree from BI Norwegian Business School, PQE in Shipping from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, and a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from NTNU.
