Chris Leppard

Chris Leppard is the Managing Director Americas at Equinor Ventures, leading a team of investment professionals dedicated to accelerating the energy transition to a net-zero future. With a robust background in exploration and reservoir systems, Chris has previously held roles such as Vice President and Chief Geologist Exploration, focusing on subsurface success and promoting collaboration across disciplines. Chris has extensive experience in both Equinor and its predecessor company, Statoil, where responsibilities included leading exploration strategies and ensuring integration across business units. Chris's educational credentials include a PhD from The University of Manchester and executive education from Harvard Business School.
